The Heart of Harmony - Introduction and Rules (MUST READ!)

Our Vision: To inspire people and ponies to live more fulfilling human lives by nurturing a connection with one's own spirit, (Higher Self, Soul, Spirit, etc.) as it echoes positive qualities embodied by the ideals of the six Elements of Harmony archtypified in “My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic”.

Our Mission: We seek to provide an environment for safe, useful guided meditations, as well as healthy introspective techniques and practices, to offer a potential path toward a personal connection with one's own spirit through exploring the positive ideals represented by the Elements of Harmony and/or Earth, Pegasus, and Unicorn pony “races”; and to encourage our members to use the positive aspects they may discover within themselves to make the world a better place.


Your Responsibilities: By applying for membership (“Passport”) to these forums, you agree to abide by all forum/community rules (“Laws”) and respect the enforcement of the Laws of this community by the Harmonics, the collective Moderators and Administrators. Failure to do so will result in your Passport to our community being revoked.

Commitment to Community
A healthy, safe community allows for all its' members to enjoy healthy, safe lives. Thus, the health and safety of the community as a whole must come first. Thus, while we strive to respect and care about every member who has been granted a Passport into this community, if an individual jeopardizes the safety or health of The Heart of Harmony, their Passport will be revoked, (ie: Banishment).

(A simple “rule-of-thumb” to bear in mind is: If something would be frowned-upon in Ponyville, it has no place here.)

The Harmonics are charged with protecting the community and nurturing its development.

Princess Celestia's decision on all matters is final.




Safety for our Users
By viewing and/or experiencing in any way, any and all content and/or materials connected with and/or pertaining to The Heart of Harmony you agree in perpetuity to indemnify and hold harmless the creators and managers of The Heart of Harmony, and to not redistribute, re-post, deconstruct, transcribe, or re-write the meditations and/or material provided in connection with Hearts of Harmony.

Meditation is like “a workout for the mind.” Thus... if you have or exhibit any signs that you may not be mentally and/or emotionally healthy, DO NOT USE ANY GUIDED MEDITATIONS until you have received express permission from your mental healthcare practitioner to do so. (Failure in this matter will result in permanent revocation of one's “Passport” and/or user privileges.)

The Guided Meditations written specifically for The Heart of Harmony were created by persons experienced in writing Guided Meditations/Visualizations for use only by those in fit, stable, mental and emotional health with no prior nor family history nor indicators of mental and/or emotional health issues.

No guarantees of any kind are offered by The Heart of Harmony, its authors, leaders, management, members, creators, or assigns, regarding the use of the materials pertaining to and/or connected with Hearts of Harmony, its forums and its community.

Key Terms:

Passport: Your user account, the name and email you have when you are registered and accepted into The Heart of Harmony. It does not grant or give special privileges, simply states that you are a member here.

Visa: A shorter phrase to describe the nine groups of the Heart; The mane 6 and the three racial spirits. Each group is unique in the sense that they will have their own guided meditation and discussion sections dedicated to them.

Harmonics: The collective moderator and admin group, make single to represent the uniformity of counseling in the Heart. Their purpose is to serve, protect, and guide ponies as they explore their more spiritual part of their lives. The following users are considered Admin Harmonics, when it comes to the matter of Passport/Visa registration.

Passport to Harmony
If The Heart of Harmony is issuing Passports (user accounts), the registrations process is similar to other forums.




The Tiers of Harmony
Upon being granted a Passport to The Heart of Harmony, most entrants are granted a guest rank, granting them access to limited materials and resources. This includes the being able to partake in general conversation topics, and viewing journals. It does NOT allow users to receive a guided meditation file, until they apply for a Visa.

For a guest to apply for a Visa, a request must be submitted via Private Message to an Admin Harmonic, including a letter addressed to Princess Celestia detailing one's reasons for wishing to become a part of The Heart of Harmony.

The Letter will be reviewed, and if accepted, the applicant will be asked questions pertaining to the rules listed below in order to be granted a Visa.

This system of resources has been put in place for everypony's safety. Do not make available resources to those who have not proved to the review-board that they can safely and wisely handle these guided meditations.





The Races of Harmony
Upon being granted a Passport to The Heart of Harmony, one must choose one of the six spiritual archetypes (The Mane 6), or may choose one of the three races (Earth Pony, Pegasus, Unicorn). No other race is allowed at this time, with the rare exception of Bat Ponies. The Heart of Harmony will not directly include files dedicated to other races.

One's race or archetype allows one access to different files and race/Archetype -specific discussion groups to ensure privacy where matters are pertinent only to another of one's race and/or Archetype.

One's race and/or Archetype may be changed by submitting a request to an Admin Harmonic. The request will be logged, and an excessive number of changes will be noted unfavorably.

The Rules of Harmony
As with every community, the rules (“Laws”) exist to keep the community and her peoples (“ponies”) safe, allowing for the best, safest experiences for all.

You may disagree with our community's Laws, but while interacting with any aspect connected with Heart of Harmony, you will obey them. (Just as you must obey the laws of a foreign country you were visiting.)

Failure to obey any of our laws will result in disciplinary action, up-to and including revocation of one's Visa (level demotion) and/or Passport (banishment).

To be a part of this community, to experience any of the resources connected with The Heart of Harmony indicates an express agreement to be subject to our rules/Laws.

(It should be noted that poor behavior elsewhere that would reflect negatively on The Heart of Harmony, may be considered by our Harmonics and may result in disciplinary action.)

Overall Rules

User Age Requirement: Any individual applying for a passport to our Heart of Harmony, and/or using/experiencing/viewing any of its materials and/or guided meditation files must be of the legal Age of Consent pursuant to his/her physical jurisdiction.

User Rating and Content: Like “My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic” itself, our Forums adhere to a strict “G” / “E for Everyone” rating in ALL its areas and associated/affiliated “Virtual Worlds,” both public and private. NO exceptions.


Flaming: Verbal attacks or insults, otherwise known as “Flaming,” will NOT be tolerated. NO exceptions.

Do not attack or insult another, period, especially on the grounds of another's Race, Religion, Sex, Gender, or any other Personal Beliefs – even if the subject of the attack/insult is not a member of The Heart of Harmony.

If you feel you are a victim of Flaming, please report any attack of them anonymously to a Harmonic, who will deal with the problem discreetly and with accuracy.


Incendiary Topics: Some topics are simply too highly probable to evoke strongly negative responses from those who disagree with whatever side has been offered, (eg: extremist politics/policies).

Please refrain from posting incendiary topics/comments.

Any post deemed incendiary will be removed, and the poster may be addressed by the review-board.

NOTE: If you have, or are suspected of having, any mental/emotional illness, please receive the approval of your mental healthcare practitioner specific to The Heart of Harmony first, before applying for a Passport to The Heart of Harmony.


If The Heart of Harmony is openly issuing Passports (user accounts), the registrations process is similar to other forums.

• To which race one feels closest, (Earth, Pegasus, or Unicorn), or one's Archetype (Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, or Twilight Sparkle).
  
• One's understanding and acceptance of the rules, which they will be tested upon.
  

The Letter will be reviewed, and if accepted, the applicant will be asked questions pertaining to the rules listed below in order to be granted a Visa.


Holders of a Visa will have access to the appropriate community discussion groups, and its resources.
